What do you do when you have a cute stamp set that is one gender?

You change it.
By coloring on the stamp by hand and omiting certain parts, which you draw new parts in afterward.

Viola you now have a non gender specific stamp set.
OK it takes alittle work, but overall most sucessful.

A last minute card for the visiting Uncle. And finally a use for my new Geometric background stamp.



Even a more last minute card for his girlfriend, who also had a birthday this week.

I stitched you a what?

This is a card I made for a friend using one of his picture. He was convinced that all the needlepoint I do was for a card. So I had to make him a card with stiching on it. I stitched over the petals in the photo with a sheer organdy ribbon. This was my first try with this particular technique and it worked better than I expected.
