Cowboy or Cowgirl?

What do you do when you have a cute stamp set that is one gender?

You change it.
By coloring on the stamp by hand and omiting certain parts, which you draw new parts in afterward.

Viola you now have a non gender specific stamp set.
OK it takes alittle work, but overall most sucessful.

Jesus Christ, Mary. You're so artistic it makes my head spin! What a clever idea! What did you use to color these in? It looks sponged, but everything is in the lines. Is the background on the cowgirl torn paper or sponged layers?

Mary, these are awesome! I also want to know how you colored them, the shading is perfect. I am humbled by your cards.

Yes ladies, it is sponged on ink. Some places I used more than one color for shading. As far as the background I used scrap of paper to sheild the areas I didn't want to sponge, until I was ready to sponge them. On the Cow Girl card it is one piece of solid paper except the cowgirl and the horse. They were cut out and added afterwards.
